Sadly, I've read most of the threads on the boards so I tend to know whether or not a topic has been covered before. If I'm on the phone I won't check but if I'm on a computer, sometimes I'll do a quick search!
Before you start a new thread on the boards, do you search to see if someone started a similar thread in the past?

I do, but sometimes my search terms fail me-- in those cases I'm always happy when someone points me to the old thread.

Yeah, I look for recent ones. If they're from 2012 or before, I make a new one for fresh answers.

I try to. If the thread is pretty old, or didn't get a lot of replies, I figure it's fair game to ask everyone again. I do sometimes find answers through searching before I post anything!

I'd rather not start a thread if I don't have to so yes I do search first. A lot of the thread topics I would have started I usually ask on my due date twin thread.

I try to search especially on te computer. I agree though if its old or didn't have a lot of replies then I post again.

Sometimes, mostly if it's a really specific question like a symptom or particular non-baby related topic.

I try to remember though, but sometimes I forget and just post the question. If I do search, and it's over 6 months old, I will post again to get new answers.

Sometimes... But I like to start my own because not only does it keep the hive hopping but I get more personalized answers.
I did search today for a thread and opted not to post my own
