Good luck at your meeting! It's in 30 minutes, right?? I know it's going to be hard, but try to stay calm and let them do most of the talking and reiterate back in your own words what they are saying to you! *hug* I hope it goes okay!

8 minutes to go ... so nervous!
I have all laws printed (thanks to all who provided links). I have notes for what I want to say/mention and questions I want answered.
I am going to follow your good advice here and mostly listen, repeat back what they say and take copious notes. If I am brave I will let them know I feel retaliated and discriminated against. Recording is allowed in our state, without their consent, I confirmed with a local lawyer (my prior job was in a courthouse).
I have already pumped 1/2 my usual output today due to the stress I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have a freezer stash.
Also, I did send the president an email asking for a meeting (on the advice of another long time staff member here who is also good personal friends with her).THANKS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for all of your support, advice and insight. I'm overwhelmed.

@cmomma17: You can do this. The one thing that kept me strong through my fight against discrimination (thus the knowledge on laws) was that I was doing what was best for my baby. And that ultimately was more important than a job.

Ugh I just caught up to this thread and I am pissed that a woman with authority would be so unsupportive. I'm hoping you can face and talk to her about it too since she seems to be so uncomfortable about it that she can't talk to you about it first before going to HR. I'm hoping your meeting goes very well and you get an extra 8 oz of pumped milk today!! We are cheering for you!
