Ok... another Vegas question!!
We are leaning towards staying at the Bellagio for a trip out there in May. If you've stayed at the Bellagio what type of room did you get and did you like it? We're leaning towards the Salone Suite.

I was just thinking of the last Vegas trip we did. So much good food and shows! When are you going?
I haven't stayed at the Bellagio, but have stayed at the Wynn and the Aria.

@Happygal: We are going in mid May. I'm so excited! I've heard great things about both the Wynn and the Aria... but I feel like the Wynn is more aimed at an older crowd... and with the Aria I think it's so cool but I've heard it's really dark? Also, a coworker of mine goes to Vegas A LOT and has a good friend at the Bellagio who can get us a discounted rate so that's helping push us in that direction.

@MamaMoose: I don't remember it being dark. In fact, our room had floor to ceiling windows! And I can't remember the lobby or rest of the hotel. They're really nice. I'm not a party girl, so I couldn't speak to the crowds they attract. We went out for food and the shows. We went to the Bellagio just to admire the lobby and the things they had there, and it looks like a gorgeous place as well. And a discount is awesome!

I stayed at the Bellagio the only time I went to Vegas! It was okay... the lobby etc is obviously gorgeous but I was super unimpressed with the room. It was a little.. dated?

@MamaMoose: Ahhhhh The bellagio is pretty. Cosmopolitan is young and hip.
We're staying at the palazzo when we go! -
@chopsuey: I was leaning towards the Cosmo and then I had two different people tell me it was "girly" and my husband wouldn't like it!!
