The 4 month sleep regression was hard bc sleep had been pretty good for over a month, but this 9 month sleep regression has been brutal. We are at 10 months and still waiting for it to pass.

Every age. We seemed to have taken a permenant step back with each regression

It's hard to say because they've all been difficult for very different reasons.
Right now is really, really hard. No naps and a late bedtime us wake ups is setting me over the edge, but I'm 35w pregnant and probably wouldn't care nearly as much if I wasn't!

The newborn days. Except they lasted for about the first six months of his life.

@MsMini: :(. I'm currently feeling a bit like that too. DD was up four times last night. She hasn't been that bad (minus a couple days for teething/sick) since four months.
@Mrs. Jump Rope: that sounds terrible. I'm so sorry! Hope things get better (esp before the baby comes). I'm sure it will work out somehow!
@Espion: haha!
@loveisstrange: right?!?! It's got to end sometime....right?

Currently it's the worst. 9 months is such a fail in the sleep dept. not that it's ever really been a win.

D was always easy. Our only issue now is when we have to do bedtime negotiations.
M is tough right now, at 4 months. Newborn was easy compared to him now. I'm hoping he'll turn a corner, soon.

9-12 month... then we turned a corner around 14 months and it has been tolerable ever since.

17 months? It was mostly because we used to nurse to sleep and i had to wean her due to pregnancy complications...she didn't handle the transition well.

Honestly, when she had the croup was the worst, other than that we've been lucky in the sleep department.

8-10 months. She was an amazing sleeper before that, even as a newborn. I'm not sure what happened in those months but they were horrid.

9 months. She started pulling herself up and it was soooo hard to get her back down.

DS was equally awful his entire first year.
DD actually slept REALLY well until she was 3 months (only 1-2 night wakings). Now at 8 months we are having 3+ wakings per night.

@sarah.clarisse: @pastemoo: @shopaholic: @MrsB2012: @dolphin: @lamariniere: @Alivoo01: well it looks like our 8-10 mo sleep suckiness is normal. I just need it to end soon!! I seriously regret ever complaining abt two wakeups.

I'm so glad (and sad?) to know lo's sleep is normal, we're at 8.5 months and I'm so damn exhausted from her wakeups. I think it's worse than the newborn days bc we had a taste of good sleep. And now it's gone. Waaaah!

@Zbug: those answers were not the ones I was looking for when I clicked on here. I guess I should feel better that we are all suffering or have had suffered through this. Oh my goodness....this regression is killing me!

4.5-5.5 months and counting....
She was a great sleeper up until then! Now every week is either hit or miss. Currently a miss!
watermelon / 14467 posts
Right now, specifically. She dropped one of her naps and is fighting bedtime so hard.

Our 4 month regression was horrendous. It started at 3.5 months and lasted until 7 months. It kept getting worse & worse. Like 6+ wake ups a night plus rocking for like an hour and half. & she was not receptive to sleep training at all until 7 months. Now at almost 11 months it's been good. We missed the 9 month regression thank god but I'm sure there are other regressions on our horizon. At least God is giving us time to recover from that 4 month regression.

@MrsA: @singingbee: knowing that I'm not the only one dealing with this helps...although sleep would help more :). This too shall pass. This too shall pass. These babes are lucky they are so cute.
