I don't even know what these apps are really called, but I want to be able to put multiple pics together (like two side by side). I got framatic but it has all kinds of in app purchases and pop ups which is really annoying.

I use Pic Stitch. At times it can be annoying because an advertisement will come up as soon as you try to save your collage. You have to wait for the full ad to finish or click out of it before your collage saves on your phone. Other than that I like the simple collages and different setups available.

I use this one called picframe. Free and doesn't have intrusive ads, at least not on Android.

I use the free version of PhotoGrid on Android. Haven't found any intrusive ads so far.

I like Photo Collage. Can't remember if it was free or if I paid, though. Easy to use.

I use PhotoCollage. It's free and lets you pick the format and which pictures go where.

Are there any collage apps that allow you to customize the frames/layouts?
I currently use instacollage but I want something more flexible.

I use Photo Collage too. It was free, works fine, and I'm cheap

I'm still using photo collage but you can change the frames (as far as I can tell) but the updated version is pretty good.. Has text, editing, etc.
