We are need of new bath towels. We are still using the set from when we got married 2 years ago. They are just from Target and they have not held up well. I know I don't want those bath sheets because they are just too large to wash. I want something that holds up well. Any suggestions?

We use Christy towels from Bloomingdales, and LOVE them! We've had them for 2 years now and they're still so plush and absorbent!

we love christy bath towels. we got ours from bloomingdales (wait for one of the home sales) and the company store.
i think we have a different "model" than the links above, but overall i think the brand is very good quality.

Hotel Collection towels at Macy's. I love them and they hold up great. I won't pay full price but they go on sale a few times a year.

@edelweiss: Yes, aren't they the greatest?! We stumbled upon them after touching probably every brand of towel at Bloomie's! I think we have the Elegance ones.

@pelikila: I third the hotel collection! I just got some 2 weeks ago on sale for $17 a piece after sale and a $10 off $30 coupon they always send out. Then they also had some on the clearance table (old colors maybe?) and picked up those for $6 each.

i picked up some great Ralph Lauren towels at home goods a couple years ago and they're great. Soft absorbant, but they did "shed" for awhile.

I love Nautica towels from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The are super soft and fluffy but still dry well!

I love the big bath towels from JcPenney. I would use to wait for them to go on sale. Now with their new pricing I don't know if they are as affordable any more?

I never shop at Kohls, but I did buy bath towels there. I really, really like the Vera Wang ones. If you wait for a sale (right now they're buy one get one), the price isn't too bad. They're substantial and they have held up really well over time.
