I've been asked my husband's grandparents and the ILs in general to make a 'wishlist' for the kids for Christmas. Everyone likes to buy early, which is fine, I'm cool with that - but I'm drawing a blank.
DS is going to be 23 months come Christmas. DD will be 9 months. Since they're so close together, we pretty much have everything 'new' so we don't really need any more stuff but I feel like we need to continue challenging DS.
We already know we're getting a learning tower and tricycle for Christmas. DS already has Megabloks. He loves balls, cars, trains, Dumbo (that's right, not Elmo), puzzles, and books. I would like to get him a few more puzzles, maybe some fun magnets.
Eventually hubs and I are going to get a play kitchen and accessories and DS already has some felt food. But everything else - I'm just at a loss.
My goal is since I'm a SAHM to have some things that he can play with for fun but grow into the learning aspect of later. I'm thinking he'll need a table with some chairs. Perhaps an art easel (anyone have a sturdy favorite?). Some art supplies, smock, etc. But what about some magnetic letters? Or good wooden puzzles? Something to amp up the teaching of colors, shapes, letters, numbers, something that will challenge him.
And any suggestions for little miss would be great since I feel like she's missing out because big brother got here first
Anyone?
ETA: His birthday and hers are not far after Christmas so whatever we don't get Christmas, they may get for their birthday.
