Never forget the love you feel today.
As in, like on your wedding day. So much can come your way throughout life that really tests your patience and your love for your spouse and this little gem really resonated with me and any time I'm struggling, I remind myself of how much I love him and why and I'll look at my favorite picture from our wedding day. It doesn't solve whatever issue we're having but it reminds me that it's worth working through.

My parents always told me to marry the man who didn't just want me to pursue my dreams in life, but pushed me to get there. It sort of goes along the partnership idea, but has a certain element of keeping your individuality which also resonated with me.
I think it is very important in a long term marriage never to lose sight of your goals and dreams, but to pursue them together.
