Baby Tricyle is here and he's a peanut at 5 lbs and 14 oz. We bought zero clothes in this size. Any recommendations for stores that sell teeny-tiny sizes online?

When DD #2 was born she was 6 lbs 5 oz, but only 17 in long. She was a little peanut. We did a lot of 2 pieces Carters outfits (with the footed pants and snap front shirts) We found them at Kohls and Babies' R Us. Babies R Us also has a seperate premie section too!

Congrats!!! I know carters sells preemie sizes online, but not a ton of other suggestions. Can't wait to see/hear more!

Congrats! My daughter was 5'4 and nb stuff fit her pretty well at birth...we had mostly carters, I think it runs smallish, especially after washing.
Diapers.com has a huge selection online with fast shipping. I think a lot of clothes are on sale for the holiday right now too. If you create and buy off a registry, you get free shipping on any amount purchased too, you don't have to meet the $49 minimum.
Welcome baby tricycle!

Carters has newborn and preemie. The sleep n plays are easy to put on when they're so tiny.
Congrats!

BRU and Carters are the smallest NB and preemie sizes! When Cobi was born he was 7 lbs and fit into preemie so they might be a little big on your babes

Carter's has great stuff but shipping takes forever, so I'd look at Amazon.

@Arden: really? I've never noticed shipping delays.

Congratulations!! I had a preemie, 4.5 pounds. Brands that are good for preemies are Carter's, little me and kissy kissy.

I liked baby Gap stuff a lot. LO wore their NB size for about 3 weeks.

@Mrs. Tricycle: OMGGGGGGGG CONGRATS!!!!!
Carter's has a good premie selection. You can go to BRU and they have a lot of stuff too.

Congrats! My LO came home @ 5 lbs 8 oz and we primarily did Carters onsies from Target (the "Just One You" brand) in size NB. They were a teeny bit loose at first, but no so much that they made her look scrawny. She was able to continue to wear them until about 3 months, so we got much more mileage out of them than if we'd bought the actual preemie size. I found that PJs ran bigger than onsies, so for those you might want a few preemie size pairs. Gowns (with elastic at the bottom) are another good solution for fairly flexible sizing.

@mrs. Tricycle: Congratulations!!!!! Everyone already said it but BRU and Carters are great. You can probably find nb and p at Kohl's if you don't have a Carters or don't want to deal with BRU this weekend.

Oh! Also, Gap is having an amazing online sale for Thanksgiving Day only, lots of their First Favorites bundler 2 packs and PJs are on sale for $10 each + 20% discount; there were plenty of things left in the "up to 7 pounds" size when I was shopping Thursday AM, so you might want to give that a try. Free shipping if you spend at least $50.

YAY!!! Congrats I agree, Carters runs small enough. Our LO was much smaller than we anticipated and we had the exact same problem!!

Lydia was only 4 lbs 11 oz when we brought her home. Gymboree has a nice selection of preemie clothes in store- we couldn't find any at Target. L'oved Baby clothes for newborns are small. I think they go to 7 lbs.

I've found baby Gap NB stuff to be on the large side. My little guy was over 8 lbs at birth at the NB stuff was huge on him. It still fits well and he's now over 9 lbs.
