I have gone nuts today. I made s'mores bites for a shower I'm hosting tomorrow. Spinach & artichoke dip and I'm working on a new meal:

So far, there's chicken in the crockpot. I made homemade yams and also apples for LO. Later I'm doing a cucumber-bean salad, and rice. I also want to do some spinach for LO, and maybe peas. I figure I can make a month's worth of food for her today and freeze it.

@MaisyMay: Oh man a whole month?! I usually do a week at a time because I"m lazy. Your food sounds WAY more healthy than mine

@babyjmama: I am lazy. That's why I'm trying to get it all done in one day. She only eats an ounce or so a night. I bought some little disposable containers at Safeway and am putting the contents and date on them and figure we'll just thaw a few at a time.

@MaisyMay: Perfect idea! That's what I did when J first started solids, it worked great! I felt super good about myself once I got done, so I hope you have the same feeling

@babyjmama: Yeah, feeling pretty good. A friend was supposed to be over today so that we could do this together, but just now called to say she was up and on her way. I'm really excited about giving LO chicken for the first time. What were your first foods?

@MaisyMay: We did cereal mixed with bananas for some flavor. He loved it! Pretty much if it's fruit he wants it, veggies are much more hit or miss
