    @hilsy85: Happy birthday! And a very happy new year too! Hoping 2015 is a great one for you!

    @auggiefrog: Yay for a good drop! When I was getting my weekly checks I couldn't wait to get to 0!

    @FannyMae: I've unfollowed so many people on FB and instagram. I'm still not up to looking at their pages. I hate that this whole thing has made me jealous of other people.

    Still no AF. And my temps are so wonky, that I ended up losing my crosshairs, so now my chart says I haven't ovulated at all - even AFTER the trigger.

    Provera for me.

    Bummer I don't know much about provera, does it take a while to work?

    Well it's midnight here and officially 2015. Thinking positive thoughts for all you ladies still on this board. Hoping this new year brings everything you are hoping and wishing for

    @FannyMae: I completely understand about hiding people after annoucements. I sometimes wish I could do it in real life! Lol

    @auggiefrog: thats great! Big drops feel like a move in the right direction, the waiting is awful.

    @hilsy85: happy birthday!

    @jaguar: ugh, that sucks. I'm sorry. I hope it allows you to move on quickly. Did the dr give you a prescription already, or do you have to go back to visit him?

    @HappyBluebird: I'm with you- I hate how bitter this process makes me feel sometimes. Thanks for the good wishes, I hope the same for you!

  6. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    @Crystal: I already have a prescription (and a filled one at that, ha) so I was ok to just start today, thank goodness!

    @HappyBluebird: Yeah, it can take up to a fortnight. I usually take it 10 days (one tablet a day) and AF comes a couple days after that. (UGH.) This time she's trying me on 5 days, and see what happens.

    @jaguar: hope it works soon!!

    Ugh, a friend just announced her pregnancy at the party we went to last night. I am really truly so happy for her, but feeling SO bitter. She's due in August, and if my June pregnancy had stuck, it would have been SO fun going through it with her. I also am so jealous that she got pregnant pretty much right away And I think I might have been overcompensating for my jealousy/bitterness by actinbg over the top happy for her last night--whic h I am! but might have gone overboard on congratulations. Going to try to improve my mood so I start 2015 on the right foot! Hope you all had great celebrations.

    @hilsy85: *hugs*. That really is one of the hardest situations to face when you are dealing with this. It's really made me rethink how i might go about announcing in the future. I love your positive attitude!

    @jaguar: fx the pills work quickly. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

    @Crystal: Thanks hon. I really had hoped to start 2015 more positively, but I'm gutted that I couldn't even get a freaking PERIOD properly.

    I'm so frustrated. If I have to miscarry, why does my HCG have to keep rising??! Took another cheapie this am hoping to see it lighter and it's still getting darker! This is so worrisome! Is this what happens with a blighted ovum? Anyone know?

  12. DesertDreams88

    grapefruit / 4361 posts

    @Travellingbee: *virtual hug* yeah, damn those HPTs and HCG and everything. I posted a detailed response on your blighted ovum thread, but in short, yes, HPTs can get darker even in the midst of a miscarriage.

    @travellingbee: I'm sorry chick. Limbo is the ABSOLUTE worst, I've been there twice this year (and it really, really sucks.)

    As for me... Provera 5 day course finished - now I'm still waiting for a freaking period. I'm SO frustrated!

    @travellingbee: so sorry this is dragging on. I don't have any advice about the blighted ovum but hopefully some other ladies can give some advice

    @travellingbee: I am so sorry. I sincerely hope you get more answers at your appt this week and this is resolved quickly!!

    @jaguar: UGH of course when you want AF to come, she's no where in sight. I hope she shows up soon so you can get moving forward!

    Just read on @DesertDreams88's new thread about how many people got pregnant the first full cycle after m/c. Thought that would be us, but it looks like not...sigh.

    @DesertDreams88: my doctor made me start birth control 3 weeks after the D&C and I'm not sure what affect that had on O so I don't have any advice for your thread but it looks like the other ladies were able to answer

    @hilsy85: I'm sorry. I stupidly hoped we'd be the same and get a natural miracle. HAHAHAHHAA no.

    @HappyBluebird: I really hope so. It's messing up all our plans, with her not being here. I just want to sit in a corner and cry.

    @jaguar: still not here?! How soon after proverb is it supposed to start?

    @hilsy85: ugh, I know what you mean. I've passed a year of trying since the mc, and still no BFPs. I also read the same thing about after HSGs- nope, didn't happen.

    @travellingbee: are you back home yet? When can you see the dr?

    @DesertDreams88: my next period was longer than normal, I think I Od a week late?

    @HappyBluebird: how are you?

  23. jaguar

    @HappyBluebird: *hugs back* Thanks chick.

    Did some Ikea shopping therapy today with my Mum... which was good. I think, after all this time, it's starting to sink in with her just how HARD this whole thing is.

    Wanted to pop in an wish everyone a Happy New Year. I'm so sorry to see so many newcomers and hope that you find peace here. Sending lots of love

  25. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @Crystal: Most days I'm ok, the holidays were harder than I expected. Also my SIL just had twins and I'm having a hard time with it. I absolutely hate to be jealous about other people so that makes me feel even more guilty. Also my ILs are over the moon with the twins (which I don't blame them for) but often the comments really hurt mine and DH's feelings. We are trying our hardest to not be bitter but it's hard. I know I don't have to explain that to any one here

    How are you doing?

  26. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @2PeasinaPod: Happy New Year! Hope that you are doing as well as can be

    Hey Girls. Thanks for starting a new thread Jag!

    I'm really sorry to have had so many people join us over the holidays (and that so many of us are still in this thread!).

    1. What is your story? DH and I were NTNP (well, sort of preventing with NFP, but I wasn't charting very accurately) when exactly one year ago today we got a surprise BFP. I knew something was off from the start, and MCed at the end of January. We've been TTC since (charting and using OPKs, and most recently, provera) and nada.

    2. How do you feel today? It's my first day back to work after two weeks off, so...meh.

    TTC wise, I'm trying to still remain hopeful since our timing was good since I was off work around Christmas (fertile week). But it's waning quickly.

    3. If you have any "next steps" what are they? When I was KU my doctor discovered ovarian cysts that I have monitored every few months. My next check up is in February, and the doctor said he'd discuss IF treatment then since it will have been a full year of trying at that point.

    4. What coping strategies have worked the best for you? Knowing who I can talk to. In addition to this board, having a couple friends who I can chat with more personally too.

  28. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    @2PeasinaPod: Happy new year, chick. x

    @HappyBluebird: No explanations necessary. We get it!

    @MaryM: Hi lovely. Hope you're doing ok.

  29. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @jaguar: Thanks. I'm really trying to keep things in perspective, and I think that's been helping. I saw Unbroken last week and since then I feel bad complaining about any of my first world problems!

    But I did get kind of excited when I found out DH works nights most of the rest of the week so I get the couch/TV to myself when I get home from work. Is that wrong? I think I just want to curl up on the couch and watch trash for a few days until I get used to this working thing again!

  30. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @jaguar: I love that I can vent with people who understand

    @MaryM: umm, I LOVE when DH is out for the night and I can watch whatever I want with no comments! Right now we only have one TV working (one broken TV and one in the basement that flooded that we are trying to redo) so when dh is home I usually let him have control over the remote. I love alone time

  31. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    @MaryM: Totally ok! My hubby is in the office today (he normally works from home) and I am ROCKING it in my jammies watching lame tv.

    @HappyBluebird: Same here! Not many other people understand, or can hear me out with no judegment.

    @MaryM: I know how you feel. My DH travels some and, as long as his trips aren't too close together, I really look forward to the week trips. It's nice to not feel guilty about watching really stupid shows and getting the bed to myself. And picking up sushi that I don't have to share!

    Going in for my ultrasound now. I'm six weeks yesterday... They want to make sure it's not ectopic. Never thought an ultrasound could be depressing. But I'll be glad to have answers and a plan.
