Motherlove's blog published a podcast of an interview conducted with Mayim Bialik on her book that I listened to yesterday. Mayim Bialik is everywhere promoting her new book. The people interviewing her keep hyping it up as this crazy way of parenting. It is really irritating me!
Not that I even practice attachment parenting all that much but I don't think it is so "radical". Have people really never heard of this stuff or is the media just doing what they do best - sensationalize?

I would be interested it reading it. I agree with Andrea that it's annoying how she is portrayed as "radical" because she practices attachment parenting, a well-known and widely used method. Why does that make a media story?
