I'm sure there are other threads like this, but what is your biggest pet peeve?
Mine is people touching me! I guess I'm not a touchy person but even when family members touch me I cringe. It's horrible. I hate hugs, hate legs touching me, hate people patting me on the back. Do you have any weird pet peeves?

People who say "literally" all the time when they should really be saying "figuratively." 95% of the time, when people say "literally," they are literally not using it correctly. Also, "conversating" is not a word.

I have a big pet peeve for loud breathing. For some reason it drives me absolutely crazy. It's very difficult at work because most of my work is done on the phone instead of in person and a lot of people have their mic too close to their mouth and I can hear them breathing. ahhhhhhhhh

Lateness, excessive self promotion, people who can't drive, seeing "thanks in advance" or "this" and body odor.

Bragging or people eating loudly or rudely. Bragging wins hands down though!

Bad table manners and people who are sick but aren't considerate of others and go out anyway (to unnecessary events like dinners, parties, etc.)

Hm. I think one I've recently been more aware of is poor train etiquette. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant and more irritable, but I hate watching people do stupid/rude/inconsiderate/oblivious things on the train.
example: Yawning and then letting your yawn out right in my face. I don't want your stupid breath all over me!

@tororojo: Conversating!! Agh!!! This really annoys me!!
I also hate it when people refer to text messages as "texes" - it's texts, damn it! Oh and when people say "breakfusses" instead of "breakfasts" - two full English breakfusses please, argh!

@Cherrybee: you'd get a kick out of one of my co-workers. She adds "s" needlessly onto the end of words and says "expecially" and "libary" "I love going to the libary to see the libarians!" There are more I just can't think of them at the moment!

People that look for things to be miserable about. I know everyone has rough patches, I certainly do, but when everything you hear from someone is a complaint or criticism, I just have no interest in continuing to converse with such people, it drains me. I hide them from my fb feed and ignore their msgs.
Edit to add: also 'irregardless'- are you trying to say 'regardless'!?! What are you trying to add with the extra 'ir'?

I have so many peeves, but I'd say the worst is when people do gross things in public like spit or sneeze without covering it.
I also hate when people are late since I am always on time!
