Did your kids use a pacifier, thumb, or neither?
My oldest used soothies and wubbanubs. She was so, so attached to them. She still has them actually - "green binka" (frog) and "pink binka" (pink bear). I have cut the pacifier part off now obviously.
My youngest used soothies or wubbanubs for a few months then dropped them very abruptly - she exclusively and obsessively sucks her thumb! And only the left one for some reason..

Pacifiers (he called it a sassy, except at daycare they call them nookies so now when he sees one he calls it a nookie). I don't think he ever sucked his thumb.

my kids didn't use pacis and neither sucked on their thumbs.

DD uses a soothie but sometimes she'll spit it out and use three fingers... not always the same three, though.

Neither girls took to a pacifier or thumb sucking.

Lo1 used a paci until she stopped at 7 months old.
Lo2 never took a paci and has been using her thumb, although not as often now at 4 months.

We never did a pacifier. She didn't suck her thumb either, but loved to nurse!

Neither! She used a soothie for a couple of months, but she never really took to it. Now, she sucks her pointer and middle finger to self-soothe. When she was younger, she'd suck any combo of two non-thumb fingers. Ha. Now it's always the same two!

At 3 months, she prefers her thumb or various other fingers most of the time, but will also take the pacifier sometimes. Having her hands near her face has always been a soothing mechanism for her, and she was quite happy when she figured out that she could suck her thumb.

DS liked his soothie for naps and car rides but stopped showing any interest just before 4 months and now sucks on a few fingers to fall asleep.

DD had zero interest in pacifiers but she is definitely a thumb sucker (6 months old now).

DD didn't like either, but used my boob to compensate.
DS is heading the same way but I offer a Wubbanub regularly. He chews on the toy more than the paci part.

Neither. He used me as a pacifier when he was really little (despite our many attempts and lots of money spent on every kind of pacifier out there...).

My daughter is three months old now. At about 6 Weeks she started trying to suck her thumb so I introduced the pacifier and she has taken that until this past week now she spits it out. She hasn't tried her thumb again.
