I know it's a bit early to start planning Viviana's first birthday party (it's almost seven months away), but I'm feeling down and party planning cheers me up so...

Since we call her our little bird and her middle name is Wren, and since her birthday is in the Spring, I'm entertaining the idea of throwing a bird themed first birthday. It will be a small party, likely in our home, but I want it to be very special and beautiful.

Even though she's too young to remember it, I have this idea that someday she'll look back at the photos and know how much I put into it, and it will make her feel special. Or that's what I tell myself anyway.

So - bird theme! Please share your ideas for decor/invites/food/cake, etc, and if you have any other great theme ideas I'm open to new ones!
