heard something similar on the radio yesterday and thought this would be interesting to share...
our birth order pairing is "oldest with youngest" and i got a chuckle reading this because it describes our relationship to a certain degree 
just for fun, how accurate do you think this describes your relationship?

haha, this is interesting, but not true at all for us!! Both Hubs and I are the youngest and we're far more responsible than our older siblings! And we're definitely not carefree, risk-takers!!

I've wondered about this for a few years and have already assessed everyone I know to see how birth order affects their relationship. Dh and I are youngest and oldest, respectively. I wish I had known about the theory when I was growing up- so maybe oldest/oldest relationships that never worked out could have been avoided!

DH is oldest and I'm middle, and it really is accurate with that article.
My ex was also an oldest, but it wasn't like that...he didn't act like the typical oldest. He was so helpless it drove me crazy.

I have only seriously dated first borns. DH and I are both first borns. Somewhere down the line we learned the art of compromise. We both feel strongly about a lot of things, but we defer, usually quickly and without much fuss, to the person who feels the strongest.

DH is oldest and I'm middle! Somewhat accurate!
My older brother is married to a youngest and that describes them PERFECTLY. My younger brother is married to an oldest and yep.. pretty spot on too (although he acts more like an oldest than a youngest!)

Dh is oldest and I'm middle, and this is pretty accurate. I'm pretty flexible and good at getting along with anyway, and I definitely choose my battles on what to be firm on and what I don't feel that strongly about so he can decide and take charge of. (Hint: if it's about the baby, I decide. Finances or things of that nature, go for it, hubs).

DH is the youngest. I'm also the youngest but my brother is 8 years older than me so basically it says like I could act like a youngest, an oldest, or an only. Okay? lol
I don't think this is too accurate for us because I don't think my husband shirks responsibility just because he's a youngest.

Whoa.. that was spot on. DH is the oldest and I'm a classic middle. I do find myself accommodating him a lot but never to the point that I lose myself.

DH is an oldest and I'm a middle. I think I am quite a typical middle but he is more like a middle than an oldest so it isn't really accurate for us.

DH is an oldest and i'm a youngest. it def had some accurate points, but i think gender roles play a pretty big part in how birth order traits are displayed.

My husband is a twin so our relationship is not really on there, haha. I'm the oldest, and I don't know that it's super accurate for me. I'm not very bossy or dominant in our relationship. I wouldn't really say either of us is dominant, we're both pretty easygoing.

hmm I'm the youngest and dh is the oldest, but I definitely don't fit the description for the youngest--I'm very responsible and waaay more of a type-a than that, no "devil-may-care" attitude for me! I'm much more comfortable being in control. but we sort of take turns being in charge--we have different domains that we're the "boss" of in our relationship, and we're also both really good at going with the flow when the other is making the decisions.

I'm the middle of 3 sisters and that is definitely true for me.
DH is the baby of his family with just one older sister and it doesn't fit at all! He's the most responsible and take charge man out there. His older sister is only 3 years older and has always been incredibly irresponsible...so maybe that's why!
His whole family definitely babied him and treasured him his whole life though. He was the last of the grandchildren on both his mother and fathers side and was (and still is) the little angel of the family. I'm surprised he's not spoiled rotten!

We're both the oldest, but we don't really butt heads or fight over "control". I think we definitely have the "conscientious, ambitious, organized" part going on but we're not exactly the Clinton power couple either! lol
