I am always stumped for gifts and end up doing gift cards
Anyone gotten a nice gift lately they love?

Budget? And do you want to mail it yourself (like, you have other stuff to put with it, or want to include a card) or could it go directly from Amazon or some other online store? I would probably do a pretty necklace or bracelet from Etsy.

Gosh, I always have a long running list in my mind of things I would love to receive but they're really personal and don't translate well to gifting to other people. One thing I would be tickled to get is a gold stapler and tape dispenser. I love those practical things in really nice finishes. Or a set of agate coasters, those could be fun as well, in a bright color.
If I had to send something, I'd send either a cookie or fruit bouquet.

@erinbaderin: budget is negotiable - I prefer to mail just so I can add personal touches but mailing directly is fine too!

A friend sent me flowers from "Farm Girl Flowers"...it was amazing. Such a gorgeous bouquet and good prices I feel.
Another site I have found some fun, frivolous gifts from is twinkletwinklelittlejar she makes super cute glittery funny saying cups in all shapes and sizes. My fave is "Majestic AF" with a pic of a unicorn!
I love some of the simple jewelry pieces from Magnolia Market, if any of those would speak to her.
Mantra Bands & Alex & Ani bracelets are also something I look at.
Lastly, you can always cruise Oprahs last Christmas list of must haves for good inspo!

Not sure your budget or your friend's likes, but I recently gifted my friend a subscription to Birch Box. They make it really easy to send a gift, unlike a lot of the other subscription services I looked into.
Other gifts I've given in the past were a nice journal, personalized jewelry, unique cookbooks and nice kitchen utensils (for someone who enjoys cooking/baking).
