I'd never heard of there being a sliding scale in adoption costs based on the baby's ethnicity before. Though, admittedly, I don't know much about adoption. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think it's safe to assume that there are more children of color available for adoption in this country and making it more affordable to adopt them provides a better chance that they will find a home... but it still just feels so wrong to put a value on a child.

Thoughts?
