Has anyone else had bladder pain early pregnancy? I guess that's what I'm calling it because it isn't cramping in my uterus anymore it feels like constant pain in my bladder. And any time I urinate it hurts. Is this a sign of miscarriage also? I'm going in for blood tests Monday am I ok to wait til then? The pain was so bad this morning I woke up sick to my stomach. Also I have been drinking my normal 100 ounces or so of water daily.

I had something similar at the beginning, in that it felt like I had a UTI, sort of. Turns out, it was my prenatal vitamin - apparently they can be hard on your system and cause pain like this. Once I switched brands, it got better.

@ChattyCathy: Um, I think it was the Costco brand. And I guess it was bladder pain, yeah - like an aching sort of deal, below my uterus. Definitely felt like I was getting a UTI.

It sounds like a UTI to me. If I were you I'd get it checked out. I had bladder pressure in the first tri as my uterus expanded (and I needed to pee more frequently) but certainly not pain like you described.

I had a dull ache/cramps that felt like a UTI in the first trimester. It was sort of a tugging, burning kind of feeling. I was also having spotting during that time. I was very nervous, but my OB never asked me to come in when I called, they said it was normal and everything turned out ok. Definitely call though, the nurses always made me feel better!

I had this whenever I ovulated (pre preg) and a little in the early first tri. I did not have a uti so my doc just said to tell her if it continued, and it didn't. I drank a lot of water and took cranberry pills, which always help me when I have a mild uti. It is not connected to a m/c as far as I know! Hope you feel better!

A few months before getting pregnant, I thought I had a UTI. After going to the doctor, there was no sign of infection, but the pain was still terrible. After MONTHS, I saw a urologist who diagnosed me with IC (interstitial cystitis) ... It's when the lining of your bladder goes 'bad'. It sucks ... it was likely triggered by my pre-natal vitamins, and I can no longer eat bananas or avocados without intense pain.
It's been better with an adjustment to my diet, but I still have flare-ups from time to time.
Hoping that's not the case for you, but if it is, just know that it is manageable, and after pregnancy, a doctor can give you treatments for the pain.
