I haven't had a period in 2+ years (got pregnant in November 2013, have been nursing and on birth control). This week I dropped to one nursing session a day and got my period. But I'm right in the middle of my pill pack. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I see a doctor? Just continue taking the pills? Any advice?

@babybean404: I would keep taking them, I went through this and it's just likely your body trying to regulate from a hormone shift. It took me 4 months to get on track! It was super annoying.

@Bao: thanks this makes me feel a little better. And a little worse since it took a while for things to regulate for you. Did you go in to the doctor?

@babybean404: I did and it was a waste lol they told me to wait 3/4 months and then call if it wasn't better.

I'm guessing it's the mini pill since you're still nursing? At least the one I was on had no placebos, so there was no specific time that my period was supposed to show up. If that's the case then middle of the pack is 100% normal

@JennyPenny: yes it is the mini pill. I assumed since there are no placebos I wouldn't get a period but I just did some googling and it looks like I was wrong. Sigh, it has been a good 2 years without one.
