Daycare called DH and asked him to pick up LO because there is blood in her urine and she has a fever. DH made a same day appointment and will take her in a few hours.
Has your LO ever had blood in their urine? What did your Dr say?

Oh no! Lo's never had blood in her urine, but I did when I had a uti.. Hope she's ok!!!!!! Keep us posted

Sounds like a UTI to me (I used to get blood in my urine when I had them)....hope she's allright!

He took her in earlier and they wanted to get a urine sample so they inserted a catheter and nothing came out. Then they taped a urine collection bag to her and sent them home. It has been a few hours and she hasn't wet her diaper! Maybe she has performance anxiety?!

@regberadaisy: We weren't able to get a urine sample until late yesterday....I checked her lab results online this morning and something is abnormal and it says my Dr will follow up. I'm thinking it is an UTI...my poor girl has been really sad!

Her Dr. called back and the culture is finally back and she has a UTI and she needs an antibiotic, 3x a day for the next 10 days. She will also need a kidney ultrasound in 10 days to make sure things are ok. Dang, that took a long time.

I am glad to hear they figured out the issue, I am sure she will feel so much better after the anti-biotic kicks in!
