I know there are comprehensive blog posts with pictures etc- but I was still shocked at the comparison of sizes!

Ooh you're making me want a Tula! Do you know how the size of the boba compares to an ergo? I love the color you got!

@grizz: haha!! Tula twin!
@dojo: I used to have an ergo, but have it back to the family member who loaned it to us here are some visuals though http://thehappyhippiehomemaker.blogspot.com/2013/05/ergo-vs-boba-vs-tula-carrier-comparison.html?m=1

@scg00387: Man! That link makes me want to get a Tula! But I think our days of using a carrier are limited now. She doesn't really want to be faced in anymore. I wish she would enjoy it more though - baby-wearing is so convenient!

@scg00387: thanks! That's helpful! I'm sure I'll be trying to convince DH we need a Tula now... Might not be too hard since he uses the ergo on a daily basis.
@shopaholic: have you tried hip or back carrying?

@shopaholic: I agree with @dojo ! My LO loves being on my back; he can see just fine.
@dojo: I think it makes a big difference especially if he uses it daily! I'm not sure how big your LO is? I noticed the boba getting too small around 12m for my chunk.

@dojo: @scg00387: Not yet! I'm usually by myself with her, so I haven't tried the back carry on my own. Maybe I'll try it tomorrow with DH's help!

That is a crazy difference! I have been using the Ergo at work ( I am a nanny for an infant) and I like it a lot. A friend just got the Boba and I wasn't as impressed as I expected. Have you used the Tula with a newborn or young infant? Do you need an insert? Does it take longer to be able to put their legs out as opposed to a froggy position? Sorry if I am thread jacking, I just found out about the Tulas from on here and have been trying to decide what would work best for us.

@scg00387: is that the standard or thd toddler tula?? I want one SO badly...trying to justify it somehow!
honeydew / 7687 posts
@bpcmarj: toddler!
@shopaholic: i did it at first over the bed! Once you get the hang of it and LO knows what the program is, they kind of help navigate

@Cole: this is a toddler Tula! So 25 lbs +. I haven't use a Tula when he was younger, we used the boba which doesn't need an insert. Sorry I'm not much help!

@scg00387: Ahh! That makes sense, I was worried a newborn would get lost in there. I will have to see if I can hunt one down or rent one to see it in person. Thanks!
