    I just read poison princess, daughter of smoke and bones and blood and starlight. all three are YA books LOL I'm starting the city of bones now.

    @edelweiss: thanks for the suggestion, I've been in a book funk lately, and that one sounds good. Plus I like to read books before seeing the movie.

    Vanished Kingdoms: The Rise And Fall Of States And Nations, by Norman Davies.

    It's a fascinating account of several different countries, states, nations, or kingdoms that either existed for a very long time but are no longer around, or ones that existed under several different names at different times but still have some resonance or meaning for us now. A fantastic history read.

    @mrsjyw: I'm in a book club, but I'm not a very good member. Months ago they read Cinder by Marissa Meyer, and I just started that. They all loved it.

    I just read the selection by Kiera Cass. Think hunger games meets the bachelor. Great light reading.

    I just finished "What Alice Forgot" - it's a light, easy read with interesting ideas. I would recommend it!

    Just finished both Roses and Tumbleweeds by Leila Meacham. Texas centric. Interesting characters.
