Which bookcase do you like best for book & toy storage? The bookcase would last through elementary school and perhaps be used by two in a shared room. Do you have any personal experience with either of these bookcases?

I like the land of nod one because it looks sturdier and more versatile. From experience- my son LOVES to try and climb the bookcase to get all the books down. I think having books at their level creates independence so we have a small bookshelf that he can reach al the shelves and he loves it.

I like the look of the land of nod bookcase better... but I like the idea of the compartments on the second one.

I love the look of the Oeuf bookcase, but I thought about getting an open bookcase like that for my baby's nursery, and my mom was quick to point out that my LO would use the shelves sticking out of the sides to climb the bookcase, which would of course be dangerous. So I'm going to say go with the Land of Nod bookcase for that reason!
