I have had both. I prefer MBF. I love the pocket and that it attaches to me.

I still use my MBF at least half the time when we are nursing, at 9 months. I find it so much more comfortable than a Boppy. I also have a travel boppy and it is great but the Brest Friend is so perfect for nursing especially early on.
For propping her up and such, I used the "free nursing pillow" you get codes for wen you register (you end up paying $10 in shipping). It sucks big time as a nursing pillow but replaces a boppy pretty well to prop baby in or help support her as she is learning to sit.

I had a Boppy, but if I have another baby, I will definitely be buying a My Brest Friend. I had a hard time positioning LO high enough with the Boppy when she was teeny tiny, so I tended to slouch over to her. Either that or prop the Boppy up on top of 4-5 other pillows, which was too much of a hassle. My back still suffers.

Gia! Best of both worlds. Slightly higher and firmer than Boppy, but not as rigid as the MBF. And slightly sloped to help with digestion.

I bought the boppy, thinking I would like it better, but a friend lent me her MBF. For me, the boppy seemed useless next to MBF. And my baby was never interested in lounging/sitting in the boppy either. I only ever used it behind my back to help me sit more upright while nursing in bed.

My Brest friend. So much more support than the boppy. I felt like the baby always caved into the pillow when I used the boppy. MBF is firmer so the baby always stayed on it nicely

My daughter is nearly 11 months and I still use the Boppy every day! Though I have heard great things about both so I guess you can't go wrong
