I have been trying to garage sale each weekend to find cheap boy clothes... with ZERO luck. It is tables and tables of super ruffly, rhinestoned stuff and maybe a dirty, hole-y tshirt here and there.
Not sure if I should just give up and shop online?! Am I the only one!

I have lately but its because I've seen the sales on my local buy/sell/trade baby clothes and gear page on Facebook. I try to scope out the sales before I go, and if I see it on Craigslist I call or email to ask about their boy clothes, seasons, and sizes. Its definitely more of a pain to find boy clothes this way!

@scg00387: have you tried looking up local resale mom groups on FB? I belong to 3 and moms are forever posting clothes for both genders!

I'm a girl mom, but I've seen a lot of boy stuff at garage sales. We have a neighborhood garage sale so I know where all the kids live and I always go to those houses.

@regberadaisy: There are zero in my area 
We just moved from a much larger metro to a podunk town and it's driving me nuts because when I was pregnant I didn't know sizes, etc. and now that I know what I need I can't find it. There weren't even any consignment sales this spring 
Heck, maybe I should start a FB group myself!

@scg00387: I feel annoying sometimes, but it can work out! I had a mama set aside a huge lot of like-new clothes from Oilily, Baby Gap, H&M, and Ralph Lauren and since she didn't have to mess with putting it out or tagging it she just charged me $15 for the entire shopping bag of clothes! I'm surprised at how many people are happy to sell to you early when you call or email

@grizz: OMG that is amazing. Sadly, I would be shocked to find those brands here.... maybe that is better for my wallet though! I'd go broke if we were near Chicago

I had great luck with CL. Got 4 trashbags FULL! (like breaking open) of boys and unisex clothes 0-3 mos and 3-6 mos for 50 bucks. We have more than we'll need!

Yard sales are hit and miss but I've had a lot of success with local sale groups. A trash bag full for about $20.
