Besides Baby Gap & Carters....who carries cute boy stuff? Our local Gymboree has a horrible selection until 6-12m and up My baby needs clothes for the first year since all of the hand me downs we have are 24m and up.

For really nice stuff I went to Janie and Jack (but just a few choice items). I found some really cute stuff at baby depot (it's in Burlington coat factory... they have some name brand stuff like CK and Polo on the cheap!)
Other than that yup... Carter or Jumping bean (Kohls brand) is what he's usually in.

@emg86: Nordstrum rack also has some good cheap stuff!
Also flash sale sites have some good stuff... but I don't like those as much b/c you have to check everyday... boo. I have gotten some great pants for LO on flash sales though.

@emg86: Sorry just looking at pictures of LO and trying to remember where I got some of those outfits in his first year.
H&M has some super cute stuff... the only thing their sizes are weird! You might want to look at a sizing chart before buying.

I mostly just dress in sleepers and onsies when they are tiny! Not the cutest but I love the Gerber sleep and plays that come in a three pack at Target. I also got some items from Burlington or TJMaxx because I'm too cheap to spend much on little baby clothes. Also consignment shops if you don't mind secondhand.
ETA we also received some cute gifts from Baby Boden and Ruum

Macy's First Impressions line has adorable clothes for little guys. Janie and Jack for a few splurges. I've also had really good luck with TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

Gap, Target (sometimes), Old Navy. I buy a lot from Children's Place now (23 m) but I can't remember what their selection was like for 6-12m.

No advice. I pretty much shop exclusively Carter's (or the made by Carter's brands they have at Walmart and Target). Xander's always been tall and skinny, so Carter's is what fits him best.
