DH has a cousin getting married in a couple months, and kids are welcome at the wedding. DD will be nearly 3 at that point, and is often a relatively well behaved little girl, but she's still definitely a toddler and we're still not super excited at the thought of bringing her, mostly because I dread having to keep her quiet and entertained during the actual ceremony and speeches.

If we were planning on staying lat I would definitely NOT bring her, but that's not the case. Whether she's with us or not, we probably won't stay late. This isn't a relative we are particularly close to, and I'm also going to be pretty pregnant at that point, so I'm sure I won't be up for staying as late as normal.

We have the option of having DD stay with my sister's family, so I've been leaning toward that. She LOVES her cousins and they adore her.

My question is, is it weird not to bring her to a family wedding? There will be other kids there her age (although none she is super close to or knows well). Just wondering what you would do in our situation.

Thanks!
