Anyone live in a warmer climate with the Britax B-Safe car seat? It's on our top three list for car seats, but some Amazon reviews said it can get too hot for baby/made them a sweaty. It gets really hot here in the summer so I'd like to avoid that if possible. Is this just a case of crazy Amazon reviewers or a real issue?

We're going to buy the b-safe for our July baby...but I always have the AC on high when driving and I baby wear while out.

We had a B-Safe during the summer and didn't find it too hot at all! I usually carried him in the house in the carrier so it wasn't sitting in the hot car.

We had the B-Safe for my son. He was born at the end of May. I'm in the Chicago area and it's super hot in the summer. I never noticed that he got too hot...like the PP I always have the a/c turned way up while in the car. I also had a clip on fan for the car seat if we were out in the stroller.

DS was born in August and I did think it made him a little sweaty but I don't have anything to compare it to either. We never left it in the car and always had the ac on, so I think it was fine.

@fussygal: we had it and it was cooler than our convertible seats we have from Britax. I think it was just fine. We had the red one. We live in North Carolina and have a sweaty kid.

We also live in a very hot, humid summer climate and had no issues with the B-Safe. I really like this seat, especially if you are getting a Britax stroller, so would absolutely recommend it.

We live in SoCal (Orange County) and got a B-Safe for our July baby... I think no matter what, they will get sweaty in a carseat in the summer!

We had no issues with it. All car seats are hot in the summer, though.
