does anyone know what the difference between the britax boulevard CS convertible vs non-CS is? there's a $20 difference in suggested retail price.

Britax Boulevard 70 CS Convertible Car Seat
with the $20 difference. tried to read the description but it's pretty much the same.... hmmm. there's definitely a difference though between one's $320, the other's $340...

@chopsuey119: HAHA you beat me to it. i was JUST about to update the post that there's an "audible aid" - a click and save harness indicator. i guess it's worth the extra $9.... (on amazon)

I briefly considered the CS model but went with the regular. I don't need to hear if the harness is attached, I can tell without it. But if it gives you peace of mind, then go for it.

we ended up getting the CS and like it. It's not completely necessary but it makes it easy to know when to stop pulling on the mechanism that tightens the straps. If i had to do it over again, I'd definitely buy it. The price difference was minimal compared to the convenience it provided during the time we would be using the convertible seat (several years I think).

Thanks for this post, helped me finally decide on our next car seat! $20 isn't too much money, I think it will be worth it for us.

@artbee: if you buy it from amazon, difference is only $9 or so... and amazon is about $80-90 cheaper?

@artbee: yeah, i've been checking prices at bbb, bru and amazon. amazon for the most parts is SO MUCH CHEAPER! for the ones that are similar or not that much cheaper, i added it to my bbb or bru registry (for the 10% completion discount).... i think there's a cap on these registries, so can't put EVERYTHING on amazon lol. but for now, i have duplicates....

I have the one with the CS. I don't think it's necessary as I find myself still tugging on the straps a bit to double check the tightness afterwards anyway.
