What's the difference if any?
LO I think will grow out of her infant car seat quite quickly! So I'm starting to look into convertible car seats. Likely will go with a Britax do want to start keeping my eye out for sales.
Where did you get your Britax?
Do you have another convertible car seat? If so, which one?
LO is 6 weeks and fast approaching 11lbs. When did your LO transition to the convertible car seat? Thanks!

We just got a second convertible car seat (another Marathon 70). It was on sale at Amazon, so we went ahead and bought it now for 216.00

We transitioned at 7 months. LO loved being in her bigger seat. We got the advocate because I really liked one of the prints they offered and I liked the added airbag feature.

We also got the advocate because our carseats are installed on the side seats, not the middle seats. We bought it on sale from Amazon (they have sales on Britax car seats every few months, plus they send out coupons quite often). We transitioned at 1 year.

I believe the difference has to do with side protection. We went for the advocate too.

We have the Boulevard, I chose that because the height and weight ranges for use were all in the same range and I didn't feel the added side protection was necessary.
We started using the convertible at 6 months.

We have two Marathons. We transitioned him at 6 months because he was quite tall and looking cramped in the infant seat.

We have the Marathon. Got a past season one on Amazon for right below $200. If you can find a deal jump on it!
We have hand-me-down Roundabouts and Boulevards, and the Boulevard is bigger... we're totally satisfied with our Marathon.

oh, and we switched to a convertible when I just couldn't carry Wagon Jr. and the carseat anymore-- I think he was around 15-17 lbs when that happened. My arms couldn't take it anymore. It was sad though.. he practically lived in his carseat before that. Thank god for smartphones... I spent many an hour waiting in the car as he finished his naps!

We have the marathon and my LO loves it. He's really comfortable in it. I'm definitely getting another Marathon for baby #2.

I have the Advocate 70 CS, and we transitioned her at about 8 months. Im giving that seat to the nanny though, and getting a Boulevard or Marathon for us. The head constraint on the Advocate is WAY too restrictive, especially for rear facing. She cant see a damn thing and is constantly craning her neck to look out the windows.
