I didn't get a glider with my son and regretted it.. Looking to buy a used one this time around!
1. Anything to watch out for or keep in mind when buying used furniture especially a glider and ottoman?
2. Will a standard glider fit in a sedan???? We have a Toyota Camry 2003!!!

@mrs.kiwi: I would just look at the fabric for stains. We are on baby #2 with our glider and I forgot how much spit up just gets everywhere! We have one of the cheap stork craft ones though so maybe a better quality one would be more stain proof? I would also want to know how much it has been used as ours nearly broke about 18 months in with LO1. Good luck!

We got a used one and we're on baby #2. I believe this is the glider's 4th baby. I agree about the stains. I wish ours had more arm rest padding too.
We have a Camry too. I don't think it would fit. Our seller delivered to us after we checked out the glider at their house.

I don't think it will fit in the car!
We got a used glider and foot stool of off a FACEBOOK consignment group!
It was in mint condition so I jumped on it!
Of course check for stains and sit in it make sure it rocks well and you are comfortable!

Or you could get one cheaper with stains and replace the cushions. That's what we did, we found an oldish dutalier in good condition except the light yellow cushions had seen better days. The new cushions cost about $100 in fabric of our choosing

I don't think it will fit in the car. I would def want to know about stains and sniff it out - my son puked a LOT in our recliner and I told DH I would feel bad selling it to someone unless we deep cleaned it. Perhaps you can re-cover the seat.

I bought one used and we still use it every day 2.5 years later. I gave it a good clean. The seller brought it to our house.

Thanks for your tips.. There is one used but with new cushions 45 min away.. For free! But I'm sad that it seems like it won't fit into our car? It's a large sedan but.. I guess a recliner is large...

Took a chance and drove over... My hubby got it to fit in the backseat with all 3 of us fitting still in the car! (First pic from Craigslist and second pic from just now.. Excuse the crazy mess we moved last week)
