My SIL's shower is this weekend and I bought some smaller stuff like A&A blankets, changing pad covers, and other stuff that I will bring to the shower. I also bought a stroller frame and swing but I had those items shipped directly to them because I don't want to deal with lugging it to the restaurant. I think the items will arrive AFTER the shower...should I just mention it on the card that other gifts are on the way?

My mom used to order us stuff for Christmas that wasn't due to come til after, so she made a cute little gift box with a picture of the promised item.

Oh, tricky situation. I think I would just pull her aside after gift opening and let her know. I mean I think it would be a little awkward if you say it during gift opening, but if you get her aside afterwards, and just let her know.
That's just what I would do!

@autumnlove: If you can't print a picture, just write it on the card. It makes it easier to remember when writing ty notes.

I've always had people just tell me. I write TYs as the gifts come in.
