I had 2 growing up that my grandma made for me, and I'm thinking that I really want to get one for LO. We were at Costco yesterday and they had super cute Cabbage Patch Kids for $20. I'm thinking this will be her birthday or Christmas present from us to her, even though she's a little young for it. She got so excited when I showed her one yesterday, clapping and laughing.

My uncle gave me one for my first Christmas. My mom gave C one for hers.
I have 3-4 old classic ones still.

@loveisstrange: I still have my old one but don't think that I want LO playing with it. I think I'd rather she had one of her own and when she's older she could have mine (when it's less likely to get battered). Part of me is even inclined to see if I could make her one.

I had enough "students" to be their teacher. I had a boy with brown hair, a red head with ponytails, a blonde, and a couple of babies. I loved the signature on their butts!

I never had a CBK. I was scared of them because I heard a lot of scary stories about them. -.- lame!
DD doesn't have any dolls yet. Don't plan on getting her one unless she asks for one!

Did you have the cornsilk ones? I wanted a cornsilk but I ended up getting one with yarn hair. I tried brushing her hair once and all of the yarn unraveled and she had frizzy hair. I was so embarrased that I told my friends that I lost her. I didn't want my friends to make fun of me.
ETA: Never mind, just read your post that your had very little hair. I'm still traumatized by my yarn hair incident. I totally remember bawling about it.

I had several as a child and loved them! I just bought LO one, Annie Coco, as I want her to have her own baby before LO #2 arrives! So far, she's not super interested in it...

@MsLipGloss: Oooooooh. I love juicy legal stuff. haha. I hope somebody sued them for making yarn haired CPK dolls. =\ Does it have anything to do with the names that they used for the dolls? 
I'm sure Mr. Barnbaus Rafael wasn't too thrilled about having a baldie CPK doll named after him.

@T.H.O.U.: Mine is still in decent shape, but I want her to stay that way, so LO gets her own.
Is it crazy that I wanted to go through all of them and find one with a birthday close to LOs? DH totally didn't get the idea of adopting them and how they have names and birthdays.

I had one, named Nancy and she was bald and had a pacifier My sister had one (can't ermember her name) and it had fantasic long brown yarn hair! They need to bring back the yarn hair!!!
