DH is super excited because the new Call of Duty comes out today. He's, of course, preordered his copy and is looking forward to a night of gaming. Anyone else loosing their DH to a new video game tonight?

DH just finally got all the parts to his computer on Friday, so I was a game widow all weekend. lol. He has bought the last few CoD games but he said they're all the same and he's not buying any more of them.

Nope. He is working nights. Now, tmrw he may be playing in his days off, but he will be down at our other place since he is working. It will not affect me at all.

I will be to an extent. I know he preordered it so he'll be playing tonight. Honestly though, I'm okay with going to bed early once LO falls asleep since her sleep last night was so bad. It'll affect me more this weekend.

Probably!! But he is going on to nights, so he will probably stay up over night playing while i sleep!

I dropped DH's iPad and cracked it this morning. I'm such a klutz!!! I am sick to my stomach.
I called DH so upset and he was the best - so kind and telling me not to worry, it's just an iPad....
Anyway. I'm going to go buy him the new COD to let him know I think he's the BEST. Because he really is. I know he wants it but would never go out and buy it for himself.
Also, cracked iPads suck.

My husband wants it really bad. I wouldn't complain because I'd probably play it too.... however, I feel like Battlefield is better.

LOLLL just saw this. DH loves COD and plays all the time with 3 of our best friends and one wife--who was my MOH! She is obsessed now too. It is an affliction. I told him to get it in now before the babe is born.

@maybebaby: Ha! I've told my husband the same thing, though we set up the swing RIGHT NEXT to the TV, so DH could potentially play while he watches the baby. We'll see how that works once the baby is actually here! I'm hoping I don't get into labor for another 24 hours so he has a little time to play -- I know he's looking forward to it. Though I'm totally making him go to bed at a normal hour so he's not tired if I do go into labor in the next few days.
I splurged and bought him expensive wireless headphones a few years ago so I don't have to listen to gunshots -- best money I've ever spent!

@char54: That would totally make my stomach hurt! Glad your hubby was understanding. I'd totally recommend an Otterbox case for it if you replace it -- it makes it really bulky, but also almost impervious to dropping.

@Mrs. Tricycle: You're a good wife--sounds fair to me Yes, the headset is a must...I just think it is hilarious watching him, I feel like he reverts from a 28 year old man to a little boy. I guess if he doesn't knock my watching Pretty Little Liars I should let him have this!
