We've got bedtime down to a T now (I REALLY hope I don't jinx it by saying that!). The last four nights, DD has gone down first time and slept beautifully....

The routine goes:

Bath
Lotion
Take into darkened bedroom with white noise
Swaddle
Bottle
Rock on the moses basket mattress in my arms (sneaky)
Sleep
Pop mattress back into basket without her noticing!

Her daytime naps have turned to crap though!!! I think, since the week 5 wonder week, she is just to stimulated to sleep (and this - among other things - makes her a massive grotbag!)

SO my question is - can I break out some of the bedtime techniques for the daytime naps? I'm thinking of putting her down in her moses basket upstairs (instead of in her moses basket in the lounge) and maybe swaddling, using the white noise etc. Would this be a little too much like bedtime? If so, will it undermine the bedtime routine, which is currently so successful??
