I get driving on the highway... but why would a group of say 5 motorcyclists drive through a residential neighborhood packed with park cars, and seemingly purposefully activate car alarm after car alarm?

I never understood it until I lived with my dad (he is a member of b.a.c.a.), then found that it isn't uncommon for a bunch of friends to just go on over to someones house on their bikes. I have had up to 10 in my front yard at one time because they were meeting up before going elsewhere.

I hear you. I hate spring and summer and i love when the ice comes because the motorcyclists go away for the season. We've had up to 20 go by at a time. Especially not fun when they get stopped at the red light in front of our house... When it turns green things literally fall off our shelves from the vibrations of the revving engines.
They like to drive down our street because it runs parallel to the main road in our town but has less lights.
I can't wait to move.

@mrs. wagon: Yea, that is always annoying! My dad's chopper alone is enough to shake things off the walls when parked in the attatched garage

@cyndistar3: we always joke about getting those spike strips the police throw in the road to pop the tires of a getaway car. Haha. When they wake up the baby I really wanna go out there, tap on their shoulder and ask them if it's really that necessary, really?? But I kmow it's my fault for living on such a busy road.

They're usually just cruising. When I lived in Santa Cruz, CA forever ago, about once a year I would see about 75+ of them drive past our housing development. They usually drive up pacific coast highway and stop between towns to rest.

Ugh...hate this! We live on a sometimes busy road, though. But we live next to the ILs, and FIL will sit in his shed (in our backyard) just revving his bike as loud as possible over and over and over...I always want to yell out the window at him!!

We have a guy with a very loud scooter always driving through our neighborhood. Luckily LO doesn't seem to notice during nap time.
