DH's friend is over and is sleeping on our couch. This guy can fall asleep anywhere no matter how loud it is. *JEALOUS*
My dad can fall asleep anywhere too.
I, unfortunately, did not inherit this gift.

I don't do it all that often but yeah, I can. When I was in my 1st trimester and exhausted, I would sneak across the street to the Borders across from my office and take a quick cat nap during lunch in one of their comfy chairs!

I had a horrible headache yesterday and took a snooze in the pumping room...shh

Yes. I’m always fast asleep on planes well before they take off, and fell asleep in the dentist chair once while waiting for the dentist. In my first trimester I went home almost every day at lunch and took a nap.
My husband can’t fall asleep anywhere but our bed, poor guy!

I can, but I'm a light sleeper so I wake up very easily. I love sleeping. I miss sleeping...*SIGH*

No, but if I have a long car ride I always sleep. I blame my mom for driving to get me to sleep a lot when I was a baby .

Absolutely. In a middle of a 4th of July parade, on a plane, at my desk, in the car... I can snooze anywhere I choose! Hubs is jealous of this skill.

My husband has this talent. He can also fall asleep in 30 seconds flat.

I can't sleep everywhere. My husband can if he's super tired but that's the only time. My sister will fall asleep anywhere. She's fallen asleep on a plane and didn't even know she'd already taken off and landed.

I wish I could post the photo I just took - I'm in L&D getting induced and DH is sleeping, mouth open and all, right next to me... hahaha

I can sleep almost everywhere, except planes. Im too paranoid that I would snore or drool on the person next to me. The only exception is long international flights.
@rachiecakes I hope all goes well with you. Wishing you a speedy labor and a healthy baby!

@rachiecakes: Ahhh good luck, I wish you a fast and easy birth
I can barely fall asleep in my own house let alone anywhere else... So sad

Absolutely not. My best friend has fallen asleep laying on the ground in parking lots...literally...but I have a hard enough time falling asleep in my own bed with white noise on.

Sleeping is the bane of my existence! I have a horrible time fall asleep. DH can fall asleep standing up in a tornado.

Right now because of pregnancy, yes! Usually no, I always have a hard time sleeping in the car when my husband drives, but for the past 36 weeks, anytime, anywhere is fair game.

Yes. I was working for my dads company years ago and I fell asleep on my keyboard. Dad came into the office and woke me up and I had the keyboard imprinted on my face for an hour. Oops.

If im sleepy you betcha! DH on the otherhand doesnt sleep well on planes, hotels, or away from his own home. Im also a wicked heavy sleeper which is why its been such an adjustment to be waking up every night to pee or something else lol
kiwi / 686 posts
Oh, totally. I can sleep standing up leaning against a wall, laying on a bench, on the floor... growing up traveling and being in airports all the time taught me well.

thanks all! just waiting here - epidural in, lol - 8cm... Almost time!

I can't sleep any place. I need absolute silence and I don't sleep deeply either. I've been toying with going to sleep clinic because I'd love to know why I'm so sensitive.
grapefruit / 4187 posts
Not at all, I am the lightest sleeper I've ever met. I need absolute silence, darkness and I still need to be 'swaddled' meaning even if it's 100 degrees outside I have to be under a blanket.
DH on the other hand can sleep anywhere, and does. But luckily he doesn't mind when I frequently wake him up for company
