I have always required a lot of sleep to feel well-rested. As in 8-9 hours - and preferably even 10! I love sleep. Getting only 7 hours I always felt dead tired.

But I need more hours in the day to get everything done... so I've been waking earlier - but because I still need my evening hours - it means I'm getting about 6 hours of sleep a night. It's a been a week and so far I'm surviving... but I wonder how long I'll last before I just crash.

Note: I never, ever got even 6 hours of sleep a night before J was a year old. But of course in that instance I didn't have a choice... I just did what all mothers have to do.
