Our closet is bursting full of huggies diapers. Lots of people bought us the XL boxes of huggies diapers in size 2 and 3, but my LO doesnt like huggies diapers, they are too coarse for her butt. I want to take the unopened boxes to walmart and exchange them for pampers swaddlers. Will they let me do this? How about babies r us?

Our Walmart will only let you exchange them for other diapers. Doesn't have to be the same bran or anything

Oh thats good I think I will call my local walmart & babies r us and ask them. I just want to get rid of these huggies diapers!

Wal-mart will take anything back. Since your boxes aren't opened, they'll definitely take it back. They'll give you the credit back on a shopping card.

Also, check because each store seems to only carry certain sizes boxes of diapers. For example, WalMart carries the Huggies Little Snugglers diapers in Size 2 - 140 count boxes where BabysRus carries the same Huggies Little Snugglers size 2 in 184 count boxes. If you try to exchange the wrong count box to the wrong store they will not take it (I've learned the hard way).
You can check most stores online to see what count they have.

Wal-mart will take anything back. Hubs one time returned an unopened appetizer tray. Without a receipt.

i've done it at walmart. they gave a store credit gift card with their full price for the diapers and i used it to buy pampers.

Without receipt they will require you to show your driver's license. They keep track of the number of returns you make without receipt and limit it to x number of returns in a year. Not sure of the exact number though.

Okay thanks guys! I will check the box count too and then work on returning these huggies and get some pampers instead.

We received THREE crock pots at our wedding and took two of them back to walmart- and walmart doesn't even carry the brands of crock pots we returned!! We got a gift card.

I returned some Huggies Diapers to both Target and Walmart with no receipts. I agree you have to know which store they came from, but I had zero issues. I received merchandise credits which I used for Pampers as well.
