I just got a call from my sister that my dad fell off the roof of my parents' house. Apparently he is conscious, and the medics are there now. But I'm 200 miles away and freaking out

Thank you all. I just got off the phone with my parents. My dad fell, but he was able to break his fall on the gutter. He ended up falling only about 5 feet, and he didn't hit his head at all. The medics checkled him out, and he seems OK. The biggest issue is his knee, but he will know more about how that feels in the morning.
I'm just trying to breathe now. That was so scary. Thank you for thinking of us

thank you!! My dad seems to be doing OK. He is getting his knee looked at, but there doesn't seem to be any serious damage. We dodged a bullet, that is for sure. Thanks for the good thoughts and for helping to keep me calm!
