Yes, I can here or there. It's nice because I can work from home if I have a doc appt or my daughter does even though we have sick time we're supposed to use for that. My boss is really laid back. When I've had nursing issues I've been able to work from home a couple days a week to help keep my supply up.

Yes - I have a laptop. (One of the perks AND downfalls of working in IT)

When I need to, yes. Though there are certain times, such as quarter end, where I try not just because I get so busy.

Yes cause I have a laptop but they don't like us too

Occasionally, if there is a specific need, like a contractor at the house or something, but not on a regular basis. I wish though!

I actually can do a lot from home. (Umm... I already do work from home on nights and weekends more than I care to admit.) I'm staying at the job I currently have because of an agreement I reached with my boss that if/when I do have a LO then I will be permitted to work from home several days a week so long as I am not specifically needed at the office.

Nope, not an option. I have a very day to day paper shuffle oriented job.

I do, mostly. I have to go in for meetings or when I go to court obviously. But otherwise I work at home.

Yep. I work 20-25 hours in the office and 10-15 hours from home. My total can't exceed 35 hours a week.

Yes-- I am a a permanent remote worker for my company. Normal M-F, 8a-5p schedule, but from home!

Yup, I can occasionally and will probably do it regularly for a while after DS is born. I'll be WFH tomorrow before we leave for the weekend :).

I can, but I rarely do. I haven't set up remote access on my home computer yet because it's falling apart and needs to be replaced before I can install the software. Unfortunately, our system doesn't support Windows 8 (or Macs) so there's not much out there that would work for me right now. Just in a waiting game to see what they eventually approve and support. Every once in awhile, I do take home stuff on paper, and I have email access on my smartphone, so I can work while waiting for repairmen, etc.

I sort of can. I'm a speech therapist, so I need to be in the office or school to see my kids, but with my new position, I'm able to do my (insane amounts of) paperwork and email correspondence at home at my leisure. It has been pretty nice so far. My previous jobs didn't allow that option so this has been a welcomed change.

Yup,I can login just like I was in the office. Some people in my office really abuse it though.

I actually have to. There are 30+ of us regionally across the country, if we had an office here I would work there but since there isn't one in FL (my territory) I work from home!

In theory...I haven't actually tried though. The annoying part is that I sometimes end up doing work from home on my off time. Curse you technology!!!!

Definitely not an option for me (I'm an RN in an ICU). On one hand it sounds like a nice option. On the other hand it's nice that once I leave work, I'm done. No taking work home.

Nope Wish I could but I need to be in the office to handle client issues when they come in

Yes, when a need arises like a midday appointment, not feeling well enough to come in, car service etc. Vpn, remote desktop, company phone and laptop make me very easily accessible.
