She is getting better but it still cracks me up! Sometimes she can get both feet off the ground, sometimes it's more of a gallop!

LO (2 years old) finally got some air in her jumps after having a go on the trampoline. I think that helped a lot!

Olive tries and always says jump, jump, jump but she still can't at 2 1/2. I'm sure Charlie was jumping way earlier!

@chopsuey: It looks like a deep knee bend and awkward thrust up with NO AIR!

My son wasn't officially jumping until he was just shy of three, my ped said it's a three year old skill, apparently.

Hah, at 15 months, no way! It would be adorable to watch her try though

Yes! She loves to jump and mostly does it off the couch. But lately she's been much more into it including hopping like a bunny!

She thinks she's hopping like a little bunny. Sadly, she never leaves the ground

Yep! She figured it out right when she was 20 months. She has a couple of friends who were early jumpers though so I think that helped.

@autumnlove: My LO can't but she tries and it is hilarious to watch! She thinks so too.

At 19 months I think he got some air once when he was super excited at the library sing-along. He sure does love to try!

She's 17 months and she gets one foot off the ground, which I actually think is pretty impressive!! But it makes me laugh so hard how she feels the need to do such a deep knee bend that her butt touches the ground and then she LAUNCHES upward. Like, kid, a small bend at the knees is more than enough. But I can't SAY that to her because for some reason the child is obsessed with knees and if you even mention the word she feels the need to touch the knees of every person in the room. Weirdo.

20 months old and loves to jump and hop. It seemed like it just happened one day.

Haha no! I feel like my nephew was jumping at like 14-15 months! Hers is more of a hop.

Yes, he started just before his second birthday. Our ped was amazed ( so proud!), but he is super duper physical and much slower on the verbal aspect of development. E has his butt kicked when it comes to talking!

19 months and her new thing is trying to jump. She bends her knees and then straightens up really fast trying to get her feet off the ground. She tries really hard, it's so cute to watch!

She is 8 months so... No. Lol. But I think kids learning to jump is so freaking cute! I an really looking forward to it!

LO is two and gets maybe an inch of air tops. for a long time it was just the motion. she's definitely interested though and will do better when she has a mattress or couch to give her some lift

LO just turned two and can get both feet off the ground only about an inch or two. But I'm super proud of him because he wasn't walking on his own until he was 18.5 months so I was worried that he was physically delayed.

LO is 23 months and only gets one leg off the ground. He yells "jump" while doing it though. So sad... apparantly white men not being able to jump starts at the toddler age.
