My daughter's daycare had a free screening today and we were told she doesn't say all of her age appropriate sounds. I'm not too worried knowing talking came later for her. I'm curious about your lo. How do they do?

I think my son I ahead in this one. He has strangely clear enunciation for an almost 3yo. But it's definitely not something I would worry much about.

Pretty well. She has about half of the six year sounds. She's had a lot of practice talking... All. Day. Long. Blah blah blah.

At 2 she can say all of the age appropriate ones plus a bunch of the older ones including some of the 7 year stuff... For some reason I don't think this thing is completely accurate.

He has a lot of these, all up to his age group and even up to age 7, this chart / ranges by age dont look all that accurate! And I think ds still has a lot of enunciation to learn!

Interesting. My aunt an educator made a huge deal last Christmas about how DD shouldn't be able to say her daughter's name that started with an 'R'. It came across as accusatory, as if I should apologize for my 22mo's enunciation.
