I can't believe DD is sleeping through the fireworks, which are going off in the backyard behind us (just 50ft away). She's such a light sleeper, but I guess this is a sign she might start sleeping better.

We are a couple of blocks away from Prospect Park, LO slept through the fireworks and they were pretty loud.

Yes, no problem now that he is down...he was just so hyper from playing with friends' kids, he didn't want to sleep!

Yes. Especially if we put her down super late because we went to a party thinking we'd put her to sleep there but she didn't want to sleep there so we had to come home and it ended up being two hours past her bedtime. She was tired enough to sleep through anything.
