Pretend that you have somewhere cool to go for a week without your LOs....
I don't think my parents can keep up with my girls. My MIL could definitely do it.

Yes, if they were at our house and had everything at-hand. My mom is actually our first choice for child care if we move! My ILs couldn't do it though.

My parents, absolutely. My MIL could but I wouldn't want her to.
I just saw the Travelocity commercial where you can win a trip but you have to leave right away. Heck yes, I would dump my kid on someone and be off in Australia before you knew it!

My mom could but LO would be inredibly spoiled by the end. My MIL could def do it.

I think my mom could no problem. ILs can....but will likely be VERY tired at the end of the week!

Honestly, I think my dad could! My mom would kick and scream the entire time, but she could do it. My MIL would need some help from my FIL or my BIL, but she could do it...my FIL would be way too forgetful and forget to feed him!

No way. We haven't left LO with either of our sets of parents for any length of time, let alone a whole week. I think my mom could handle one night, but she'd be exhausted by the time we got home. I wouldn't trust any of our other parents to watch him.

hm. i think so, but that would probably be the last time they offered to babysit for so long.

My parents had LO for 8 nights recently and did fine (I think they sent him to daycare on 3 of those days). They all did fine.
MIL passed away a few years ago, and FIL could definitely not handle LO full-time. He would be miserable and gets too easily distracted- he's coming up this weekend and will be watching LO solo for about 5 hours while we're at a wedding, and I'm worried about just that time!

In laws - absolutely. MIL runs a daycare so she'd be in heaven! My parents? Not a chance!

My ILs: no. They were overwhelmed with 3 days while DH was there too.
My parents: yes. They took C for 5 days and had a great time.

my mom, no way... not when they're this young but she'd be the cool grandma once they hit age 5 or above. she doesn't know anything about the infant/toddler set though!
my in-laws could definitely do it! they've done it!

My parents probably could especially because my teen brother and elementary age sister still live at home and are GREAT with my son! And he simply ADORES them. I don't know that my mom could without their help because of her health issues.

I think my parents theoretically could... But I wouldn't leave him with them for that long. My MIL definitely could (assuming she had the week off of work) and I'd feel much more comfortable with that.

My mom actually watched him for 3 nights/4 days recently! She was tired but I think she could do a full week. But the question is, would she want to?! My IL's probably could. Since they have 3 younger kids still at home they probably wouldn't have to do much

Yep...as of right now, though, I only have the 6 year old and he's pretty easy. My parents have taken him on vacation for a week no problem.

I probably would have said no before being put in the hospital but my dad and my grandparents have been so much help over the last week and a half! I don't know what I would do without them!
ETA: the in laws would be a definite no.
