I just read that Jacob is going into bankruptcy and will be closing all their stores. Did you or do you shop at Jacob, Jacob Annexe, Jacob Lingerie, Jacob Junior (back in the day!), etc?
I loved Jacob and Jacob Jr when I was a teen. I still stopped by everytime I was in Canada but hadn't bought anything recently. I'm sad they are closing!

I'm sad from a 'Canadian business going out' kinda point of view, but to be honest I haven't set foot or bought anything from Jacob in years and years.
But I totally loved it as a teen! And yes I totally remember Jacob Jr!!!!

The clothes always fit me terribly, so I am not sad. Maybe had they ensured their clothes fit the majority of the market better they would have stayed afloat.

That's too bad! Man, i remember buying a lot of stuff from Jacob Jr in 1989...jeez, i'm old!
Jacob's stuff actually fit me very well (their pants, especially) but I found that their style was getting boring, and the quality just wasn't there anymore. Their prices were getting ridiculous!
That's too bad though, i had no idea!

Jacob always fit me well! My school picture from grade 11 is in a Jacob tshirt that was my fave for years.

same as other posters - sad that another Cdn company is gone, but their clothes have never fit me properly.
