If you could go to the movies this weekend, which would you rather see? Captain America: The Winter Soldier or X-Men: Days of Future Past?

X-Men. In fact DH and I might have a date night to go see it. (also I am the most amazing wife ever to use my date night to go see and X-men movie....)

@cheert16: Hubs is taking Friday off, so we're sending Xander to daycare and going to the movies! We're just trying to decide which one to see!

I had no idea either of these movies were a thing, but I prefer X-Men to the whole Avengers series (I like both! I just love X-Men a lot!)

I'd pick Captain America. DH would try to watch both at the same time
They look equally good to me, but I like the Marvel movies a little better than the XMEN overall.

@Adira: or go see Godzilla! That would be a must on a big screen, the other two you can watch at home later.

I was actually leaning towards Captain America because it may be my only chance to catch it in theater and I theoretically might be able to see X-Men in theater at another time! BUT I love love LOVED the last X-Men movie, so I kind of want to see X-Men more! This is such a hard decision!!

We're going to see X Men this weekend. Godzilla was so good!

I already saw Captain America but even so I would probably chose x-men over C.A. any day because I so do love x-men
that being said we will probably see Godzilla in the theaters and wait til x-men comes out in the cheaper theater or on DVD just because Godzilla looks amazing!

I voted for Captain America, though I am super-excited to see Xmen this weekend. But I saw Captain America on our last date night, and I was SHOCKED by how much I enjoyed it. It was way better than the 1st Captain America movie and my favorite Avengers stand-alone movie so far--if you thought C.A. was kind of wimpy in the first one (I did too!
) you might change your mind after this one because it ROCKS. My husband and I both absolutely loved it!! The fight scenes are super-rad, Black Widow kicks total butt, and if you'll have a chance to see X-Men another weekend I would see this one now!

@mrbee: haha no. I haven't seen winter soldier yet. My husband just went with our eldest and they said it was ok. I'll probably watch it, but cap'n America isn't one of my favs. I feel similarity about him as I do about superman.....

I LOVED Captain America, but I've seen it already, which is why I voted X-Men.
Just watch the trailers back to back and decide from there! Or, pick the time that works best for you. Also, keep in mind that it is the X-Men opening weekend, so it will be packed.
