Can anyone recommend a car seat for a tall kid. We are going to have to move LO out of the bucket seat in DH's vehicle. In my car she rides in a Britax boulevard and she already seems squished.

We love our Chicco Nextfit! I've also heard great things about the Diono Radian, but if we're strictly basing it on height I believe that the Graco MySize/Size4Me has the highest height limit for rear-facing. Plus it's cheaper than the other two I listed!

I think the Clek Foonf and the Diono Radian have the highest height/ weight limits for extended RF.
We have a Blvd and a Maxi Cosi Pria and DD is going to outgrown the RF limits soon:( She is 22 months.
This site has all the limits for the seats and you can compare them. They also have a FB page you can ask questions on that seems to be really helpful.

My tall 3.5 yo is still RF in his Radian. We had to switch from Britax Marathon a long time ago to keep him RF.

The Graco clones (headwise, size4me, my size) have the highest limits. My DD is 100th percentile in height and always has been and we're really happy with ours. Its going to be a long time before she outgrows it (shes 2.5).
Plus, it's more than $100 cheaper than the other tall seats!
10/10, would recommend

@wonderstruck: @pinkb: @enjollah: @Boheme: @Mrs. Yoyo: thanks!
@loveisstrange: DD has her 9 month appt this week and I imagine her percentile will be off the charts. She was 99.9 at her six month. I can't keep this kid in clothes.

I can't say enough good things about our foonf. I was hesitant with the price, but considering we will be using it until she is 4 it has been a great investment. I like it an infinite times more than the Britax Pavilion my parents have in their car. She's only 15 months and she's already running out of leg space rear facing in the Britax whereas with the Foonf she has oodles of room left. I also love how narrow the Foonf is and how it is easy to clean.

We like our Diono Radian RXT. LO is about a cm above the 99th percentile line.

@MrsH: we have a graco size4me 70. I love it! DS grew out of his bucket at 5 months because he is such a long torsoed baby! Car seats for little recommended it bc I was looking at a lot of more expensive options and this one is actually taller rf than the diono

We moved DD1 to a Britax Roundabout at 6 or 7 months old, and she just now moved out of it at 2.5 years old. She's 98th percentile for height.

My LO is tall, always in the 95th percentile and up for height at almost 2, and she is still comfortably RF in the Clek Foonf.
