Do you mean Planes Fire and Rescue? I'd take either of the Planes movies over the Cars movies any time. I can't stand the Cars movies. I actually enjoy the Planes movies - I think they're pretty funny.
ETA: Planes keeps D's attention better than Cars. Cars is pretty boring after the first 15 minutes or so.

I like them all! Cars and Cars 2 both made me cry. I didn't cry for either Planes or Planes Fire and Rescue.
Oh not true, I cried during all 4.

We much prefer Cars over Cars 2. Planes is a whole different story which we also enjoy. My son is obsessed with cars and trucks though, so Cars gets a lot more play at our house.

i've seen cars and planes f&r. R loves planes usually, but didn't care for f&r. i love cars the movie and so does R! i've seen it probably 20 times, no joke. ha.

Ummm I think I need to get planes fire & rescue for our upcoming flight!
We love Cars in this house. I am not a fan of Cars 2--too violent (stuff getting blown up, etc).

We prefer Cars but it's not one of our top movies. We like Wreck It Ralph!

My son loves cars 2 but it is very violent and a spy movie. He doesn't like fire and rescue but I love it. He prefers original planes and cars.
Other top watched movies are wreck it Ralph and wall-e.

@hilsy85: We are flying in July and we've been talking about watching Planes F&R on the flight for ages. It's by far D's favorite movie and I think it's pretty great too.

My kids all liked Cars a lot (I think I've got it memorized now) but not so much Cars 2 ... Planes was good, but we only saw it once and they never asked to see it again.
